Individual Appliances
The right combination of software and hardware
The majority of products and components are equipped with software components. New technologies such as artificial intelligence, large language models, and quantum transmission enable unprecedented speeds of data collection and analysis. Plant manufacturing, production, and industrial supply are increasingly interconnected, while IT, OT, and cyber security are becoming immensely important in production.
Machine parks are the result of several decades of intensive production. In many cases, companies therefore have operating systems from different generations, a mix of new and old hardware, and systems that are no longer state of the art.
The network infrastructure of companies and production facilities is constantly growing. Systems and devices are inconsistent, unstructured, and not optimally coordinated with each other, but rather heterogeneous. Digitalisation must be able to deal with this situation.
We focus on the highest possible level of security and implement state-of-the-art solutions. Thanks to open-source technology and independence from manufacturers, we can respond flexibly to our customers' requirements and threat scenarios.
IT & OT must not rest on its laurels when it comes to state of the art technology. It can be fatal to rely on newly introduced security measures in the long term without further developing them. Although these measures offer almost 100% protection at the moment, they may already be outdated and useless in a few years' time.
Digitalisation is only complete when processes mesh smoothly and all aspects are covered with the appropriate level of professionalism. Open source is a key factor here.
