International Digital Security Forum (IDSF) Vienna

This year's 4th International Digital Security Forum (IDSF), held from 4 to 6 June 2025, once again made Vienna the centre of global discourse on digital security, technological sovereignty and international cyber resilience. Under the motto ‘Balancing Sovereignty and Solidarity in the Digital Age’, IDSF25 invited an international multi-stakeholder community of leading experts from diplomacy, politics, business and science to the MuseumsQuartier to discuss current challenges and opportunities of digital transformation as well as solutions for a secure, resilient and sustainable digital age.
The development of quantum computers opens up many new possibilities and at the same time requires a new security concept. Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and quantum key distribution (QKD) are the answer. Together with the AIT and Zynd GmbH, we are working on making encrypted communication secure even after Q-Day.
