Our third sustainability report is now online

25 years of X-Net: A milestone in sustainability and innovation

Our third sustainability report, prepared by Astrid Lenk (human resources and project management), Desiree Szöky (back office and accounting), Katharina Kloiber (CFO, innovation manager and authorised signatory), and Nikolaus Dürk (managing director and company founder), as well as numerous others involved in creating the content, reflects our commitment to transparency and participation. We worked with our team to compile this report between February and June 2024. Our aim was not only to document figures, but also to further develop a dynamic sustainability system that actively promotes change. The report will be revised and published every four years.

25 years of success

For a quarter of a century, X-Net has stood for innovation and social responsibility. The state prize for innovation and other awards testify to our commitment to open source and sharing principles, which are recognised not only in Austria but also internationally. Our sustainability report is intended not only for us, but also for our future employees, suppliers, and partners. We focus on people and the working environment, not on sales figures or other monetary indicators.

A living sustainability system

This report marks an important step toward a living sustainability system. Instead of just looking back at the past. We have opened ourselves up to new formats and tools that enable us to make immediate changes in line with our goals. After all, every balance sheet is a snapshot; what matters is how we want to shape the future.

Challenges and achievements

Over the past four years, we have faced numerous challenges and made important decisions. Looking back, we are proud of what we have achieved together. Without the commitment and enthusiasm for innovation of our entire team, X-Net would not be what it is today. This report is also a big THANK YOU to all our employees, whose dedication and team spirit shape X-Net.

Outlook

As we look to the future, our goal remains clear: a workplace that promotes personal development and an environment where innovation thrives. Together, we will continue to work on sustainable solutions and face the challenges of the future.
